The promiscuity of homosexuals has caused insurance rates to skyrocket for everyone, and homosexuals want everyone to
help pay for their self-abuse. The gay life puts a person in danger of contracting hepatitis. Again, 1-2% of the population accounts for nearly 80% of hepatitis cases in San Francisco, 29% in Denver, 66% in New York City, 26% in Melbourne, 42% in Montreal, and 56% in Toronto. Many homosexuals also engage in illegal drug use, a major cause of the spread of hepatitis.

Forty-one percent of gays admit to having sex with strangers in public restrooms. Some sixty percent admit to having sex with strangers in bathhouses. Of those encounters, 64% involved illegal drugs. In large cities, anywhere from 39% to 59% of gays are infected with intestinal parasites such as worms, flukes, and amoebae.

The homosexual life is quite short compared to the average lifespan of heterosexuals. Only nine percent of homosexuals live past age 65. The median age of death in homosexuals is 42, compared to 75 for married heterosexual men. Of AIDS victims, the median age of death drops to 39.

Among women, the median age of death for married heterosexuals is 79, but only 45 for lesbians. Only twenty-four percent of lesbians live past age 65. In women ages 25-44, lesbians die of murder, suicide, or in a traffic accident 534 times more often than white heterosexual women, accounting for 21% of lesbian deaths. About half the women on death row are lesbians.

Another danger is violent death. Homosexuals are 100 times more likely to be murdered, 25 times more likely to commit suicide, and 19 times more likely to be killed in a traffic accident than the average person. Gay victims of murder most often are killed by another homosexual. Half the reports of “gay bashing” result from gay-on-gay violence, not from heterosexuals or religious zealots. Also, the number of teens who commit suicide because they think they are gay continues to rise. The CDC reports that thirty-three percent of gay youth attempt suicide, four times the number of heterosexual teens. ⁷ 

HOMOSEXUALS ARE NOT HONEST – Many claims from gay activists are simply not true, by their own admission. Gays are knowingly and intentionally dishonest in order to gain sympathy and to advance their agenda. 

Here are some of their lies:

Myth #1 – Ten percent of the population in the United States is homosexual. This is based on the 1948 Kinsey Report, a study which produced faulty results because the subjects were prisoners and sex offenders. The Alan Guttmacher Institute and the Morton-Hunt Study, which was commissioned for Playboy, both revealed the true number is 1% to 2%. Concerning the 10% claim, Tom Stoddard of the LAMBDA Legal Defense Fund stated, “We used that figure when most gay people were entirely hidden to try to create an impression of our numerousness.” In other words, they lied. ⁸

Myth #2 – Homosexuals are born that way and cannot change. Increasingly, studies from such universities as Johns Hopkins, Albert Einstein School of Medicine, and Masters and Johnson conclude that environmental factors are major causes. In other words, homosexuality is the result of influence from others. A young child may become confused about his/her gender and sexual preference due to dysfunctional family dynamics, rape or abuse. ⁹

Myth #3 – Homosexuals are unjustly denied of their rights and are in need of minority status, protection, and special rights. As citizens of America, gays are entitled to the same equal rights as any other American, not special rights. A chosen lifestyle does not qualify for minority status. Homosexuality is not a race, but is deviant behavior defined by the act of sodomy. The courts have repeatedly denied homosexuals their claim to “insular and discreet” minority status, quotas, and affirmative action. The Supreme Court ruled in Bowers vs. Hardwick that homosexuality is not constitutionally protected. ¹⁰

Myth #4 – Homosexuality is a “victimless crime.” Homosexuals portray themselves as victims and, indeed, statistics show that most or all homosexuals were sexually abused themselves. In truth, victims of homosexuality are innumerable. When it first began to be popular to “come out of the closet,” blood supplies were tainted with AIDS and many innocent people contracted the disease through blood transfusions. A large number of these victims were young boys who were hemophiliacs (free bleeders). These young people bruise easily, bleed quickly, and sometimes bleed internally as a result of a light injury which would be ignored by anyone else. Hemophiliacs often require blood transfusions, and many received transfusions before it was known that AIDS was being transmitted through the blood supply.

A high percentage of homosexuals work in restaurants and in the food service industry where germs, bacteria, parasites, and disease can be easily passed into food. Incidents of homosexuals spitting into the food or drink of a customer they do not like have been commonly reported. There are many victims of the plague of homosexuality, and lives are impacted in ways which may not be recognized easily. 

Family members of those who have “come out” are often shocked and devastated. Parents are hurt and guilt ridden, wondering where they went wrong and how they failed their child. Spouses are shocked and deeply hurt. Children are emotionally scarred. Families are torn apart by the sin of homosexuality. 

Homosexuals victimize one another through their vile acts, as well as through gay-on-gay violence. Having been forced to submit initially, continued abuse or guilt leads the abused individual to doubt himself, his judgment, and his feelings. He feels helpless and hopeless and believes there must be something wrong with him or his abuser would not have chosen him. He comes to believe he was “born that way” and cannot change. He consents to homosexual relations and is programmed to believe the lifestyle is normal for him. In fact, he has been victimized. 

Homosexuality is not a “victimless crime.” Indeed, there is no such thing, for the very definition of a “crime” requires that there be a victim!

Myth #5: “What people do in the privacy of their own homes is nobody's business.” or “The government should stay out of the bedroom.” Good government, as the representative of the people, has the responsibility and the right to make and enforce laws to protect all citizens from any harm caused by any individual or group, foreign or domestic – even if the one being harmed consents to being harmed. For example, a 16-year-old consenting to sex with someone over the age of 21 is protected under the law. Their older partner can be charged with statutory rape because, in the eyes of the law, the 16-year-old is not mature enough to fully comprehend the long-term consequences of their actions and may have been coerced. The two may say they intend to marry, but the law is designed to protect the 16-year-old minor from manipulation. In recent years, we've seen a number of unusual cases in which the minor was a teenaged boy who was having a sexual relationship with a female teacher. In these cases, the teacher has been charged with statutory rape, convicted, and jailed because the teenaged boy was not of legal, adult age. 

Another example: An abused child will rarely report the abuse because he loves his parents and does not know there is a better way to live. He fears retribution, however, there are laws to protect that child. The abuse occurs in private, but the government has the right to examine the home and remove the child, if necessary, to protect him.

Yet another example: A battered wife is protected by the law, even if she only admits to “falling down the stairs.” The law has the right and responsibility to gather evidence against her husband and file charges against him in order to protect her.

Are we then expected to relinquish all right to privacy and allow the government to become “Big brother?' No, of course not! However, the right to privacy becomes null and void when one person harms another. Homosexuality does a great deal of harm, both to those who participate in it and the people around them. Your rights stop where my rights begin. When the things you do become harmful to me or put me at risk, you relinquish your right to privacy.

MORE LIES – Homosexuals are dishonest in their fight to legitimize their behavior. They have chosen a very effective and misleading strategy. Their tactics:

            “Portray gays as victims, not as aggressive challengers. In any campaign to win over the public, gays must be
             cast as victims in need of protection so that straights will be inclined by reflex action to assume the role of 
             protector. Our campaign should not demand direct support for homosexual practices, but take anti-
            discrimination as its theme.” ¹¹

Media sympathy helps to advance the homosexual agenda. One of the biggest goals of their agenda includes desensitizing the public.

            “The first order of business is desensitization of the  American public concerning gays and gay rights.... To desensitize the public is to help it view homosexuality with indifference instead of with keen emotion. Ideally, we would have straights register differences in sexual preferences the way they register different tastes for ice cream or sports games.... At least in the beginning, we are seeking public desensitization and nothing more. We do not need and cannot expect a full 'appreciation' or 'understanding' of homosexuality from the average American. You can forget about trying to persuade the masses that homosexuality is a good thing. But if only you can get them to think that it is just another thing … then your battle for legal and social rights is virtually won.”¹²

Homosexuals want affirmation of their “lifestyle” from the government and from heterosexual society. In October, 1987 one homosexual at a rally in Washington admitted:

            “We are no longer seeking just a right to privacy and a protection from wrong. We also have a right – as heterosexual Americans already have – to see government and society affirm our lives.”¹³

We must not affirm the homosexual lifestyle any more than we would affirm murder, rape, theft, or any other illegal behavior. Such acts are illegal because they are harmful, destructive, and sinful. Homosexuality is harmful to those who practice the lifestyle and potentially harmful to those around them. Any behavior which is harmful should be illegal. It is absolutely imperative that we stand against the plague of homosexuality and the destructiveness of this immoral behavior and insist that laws be maintained which encourage moral behavior.

HOMOSEXUALS WANT SPECIAL PRIVILEGES  -  Thus far, the efforts of homosexuals to claim minority status have been unsuccessful.  Historically, the Supreme Court has used three criteria to evalulate the facts and grant minority status to a particular class. Those criteria are specific, fair, and reasonable, and are intended to ensure that minority status is only granted to those groups which are sincerely in need of protection from discrimination.  Prejudice is based on obvious, unchangeable facts such as gender, skin color, weight, age, or height. The following is a summary of the Supreme Court's criteria.

1. The class must have a history of discrimination, including deprivation of the ability to obtain a sufficient education, pursue a chosen career, earn  a fair income, and cultural opportunities. The table below compares the achievements of homosexuals with that of the national average and black Ameri-cans. The numbers clearly show that homosexuals are NOT the victims of discrimination.

2. The class must possess distinguishing, obvious characteristics which cannot be changed and which define them as an insular and discrete group. Homosexuality is not unchangeable like skin color or a handicap.

3. The class must lack political power. Gays wield one of the most powerful political forces in this country, having contributed 3.4 million dollars to Clinton’s campaign for the 1992 election. Gays have the financial resources to buy political favors.¹⁴

HOMOSEXUALS MAKE UNREASONABLE DEMANDS - There has been a dramatic increase in the number of homosexual advocacy groups which take advantage of laws designed to insure fairness and equality in legitimate cases of discrimination. These advocates use liberal-minded gay sympathizers in key positions of authority, twisting laws for their own purposes, in order to manipulate an outcome which is to their advantage.

One homosexual sued Big Brothers of Minneapolis, claiming discrimination. However, the interviewer had done nothing different from the standard procedure. It was standard procedure of the Big Brothers organization to inform a boy’s mother of specifics about an applicant - race, color, age, gender, religion, marital status. It is not unreasonable to reveal to a mother that a potential Big Brother is gay. In all cases, this type of information is revealed to the mother of the “little brother,” and she makes the final decision. In spite of Big Brothers’ efforts to be fair, the organization was fined thousands of dollars, forced to admit homosexuals without revealing their sexual preference to the mothers, and to actively solicit homosexuals in their magazines and other media.

In 2001, a former construction engineer and Coast Guard reservist spent $25,000 for a sex-change operation. He then filed - as a woman - for a $5,000 tax exemption. Originally, the exemption was granted but, after further review, the IRS reversed that decision, citing 1990 Senate legislation which states that such deductions are not allowed:

"any procedure which is directed at improving the patient's appearance and does not meaningfully promote the proper function of the body or prevent or treat illness or disease."

The man-turned-woman taxpayer refused to pay the taxes owed and sued the IRS. ¹⁵

In another case of “fairness” run amuck, a church camp lost its tax-exempt status for a large part of its property. The Ocean Grove Camp Ground in New Jersey was founded in 1870 and has been privately owned by a Methodist group. When the camp refused to allow a lesbian couple to have a “civil union” at their pavilion, a complaint was filed with the state attorney general claiming a violation of the state’s anti-discrimination laws. As a result, the Commissioner of the Department of Environmental Protection removed the camp’s tax-exempt status without a public hearing and prior to receiving the attorney general’s report.

Other religious groups and individuals have been unfairly punished and denied their right to the free exercise of religion. In 2002, Portland, Maine city officials canceled a $60,000 grant to the meals-on-wheels program being conducted by the Salvation Army. The organization was charged with violating the city’s sexual orientation law by refusing to provide marital benefits to gay employees. The city’s anti-discrimination law was intended to simply protect employees from being fired for being “gay.” Clearly, enforcement of the law was extended further than its intent.

In Arlington, Virginia, in 2006, a devout Christian and video duplicator refused to copy videos for a lesbian activist because doing so would violate his conscience. Yet, the Arlington County Human Rights Commission ordered him to reproduce the videos or to pay the costs of having the work done by someone else. He was discriminated against because of his religious beliefs and denied the free exercise of his religion. The local government ordered him to take part in the promotion of sin, and denied him the freedom of religion guaranteed to him by the Constitution.

In the City of Oakland, California, members of a Christian employees’ group were told by the 9th Circuit Court they could not use words like “marriage,” “natural family” or “family values” in e-mail or on posters in city offices where a wide variety of groups post. It was decided that these words were hate speech because they made homosexual city employees uncomfortable.

Problems like these are becoming more common and will escalate with the passage of “hate crimes” legislation. Advocates are not concerned with equality. Equal pay is not an issue, since most gays earn high salaries compared to heterosexual counterparts. All true “hate crimes” have been fully prosecuted, therefore, there is no need for such legislation. It would only open the door to unreasonable accusations and lead to infringement on religious freedom.

While some countries execute homosexuals, in the United States, we have gone to the other extreme and tolerated homosexuality until it has become an expectation of special privileges. Homosexuals claim they want equality, but their activities clearly indicate a desire for special privileges. Gays have, for example, demanded insurance benefits for their “significant others,” while cohabiting heterosexual couples are denied the same.

HOMOSEXUALS ARE OFTEN PEDERASTS - The number of child sexual abuse cases has skyrocketed. Pedophilia is abhorred even by prison inmates, yet homosexuals and gay activists openly advocate sex with children. Technically, a pedophile is one who molests a child of the opposite sex. The molestation of a child of the same sex is known as pederasty. Homosexuals deny the child molestation charge, but statistics show differently.

• “The Gay Report” stated 73% of “gays” surveyed had sex at least once with boys under age 19.

• One-third of gays admit to the sexual molestation of a child. By comparison, 1 in 490 heterosexuals have molested a child. Also, studies show homosexuals victimize far more children than heterosexual pedophiles. Estimates show that about 80% of victims are boys molested by men.

• In 1992, a homosexual newspaper, the San Francisco Sentinel, published a column that asserted, “The love between men and boys is at the foundation of homosexuality.” The guide “Where the Young Ones Are” was published in 1973 in the U.S. and provided information about where homosexual men could find boy prostitutes. ¹⁶

• A 1985 study showed 22,981 boys were sexually molested by 153 pederasts over an average of 22 years, while 224 pedophiles molested 4,435 girls over an average of 18 years. The average gay man molested an average of 150 boys, while the average pedophile molested an average of 20 girls -a rate of 7.5 to 1.

• "SEX BEFORE 8 BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE“ is the motto of the North American Man and Boy Love Association. NAMBLA has thousands of members and marches in most major homosexual parades in the US. ¹⁷

• A nationwide investigation of child molestation in the Boy Scouts from 1971 to 1991 showed more than 2,000 boys reported being molested by adult Scout leaders. 

• A Canadian study of pedophiles found that 30% admitted to engaging in homosexual acts as adults, and 91% of those who molested non-familial boys admitted to no sexual contact other than homosexual.

The “Gay Rights Platform” adopted by the National Coalition of Gay Organizations in 1972 included the following demand for the freedom of pederasts:

            "Repeal of all laws governing the age of sexual consent." A spokesman for gay rights states: 'The ultimate goal of the gay liberation movement is the achievement of sexual freedom for all - not just equal rights for lesbians and gay men, but also freedom of sexual expression for young people and children.’"¹⁸

Homosexuals want to lower the age of sexual consent to 14. A gay organization in England called OutRage! posted the following on the Queer Intelligence Service website:

"under-age queers have rights too. They are some of the most vulnerable members of our community. We have a special responsibility to protect their interests and welfare.” ¹⁹

RADICAL HOMOSEXUALS ARE RECRUITING OUR CHILDREN  - Homosexuals actively recruit children. Marchers in “gay pride” parades chant “TEN PERCENT IS NOT ENOUGH, RECRUIT, RECRUIT, RECRUIT." The "Lesbian Avengers" print "WE RECRUIT" on their literature. Other homosexuals simply try to obtain positions of trusted authority over children, such as teachers, Scout leaders, child care workers, spiritual leaders, etc.

Hundreds of homosexual teachers and school officials gathered October 7, 2000 at the annual Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) conference in Chicago. Robert Chase, the head of the National Education Association, (NEA) was the keynote speaker.

The message Mr. Chase conveyed to his audience clearly stated that the NEA supports homosexual teachers. He stated,

"I am here today precisely out of concern for the children our members teach. The NEA does not have what the right wing has branded a quote 'radical pro-homosexual agenda.' Rather, we have a radical civil rights agenda - a pro-human agenda.” ²⁰

In true Orwellian Newspeak style, Mr. Chase appealed to sentimentality by comparing the efforts of homosexuals to be accepted to the struggles of black Americans in the civil rights movement. His misrepresentation of the gay agenda was designed to disguise the truth and mislead parents. Truthfully, the NEA has promoted the normalization of homosexuality for years.
 
Parents should be greatly alarmed by NEA support for homosexual activism and their encouragement of the teaching of deviant sexual behavior to their children. GLSEN has even gone so far as to hold a workshop at Tufts University where homosexual HIV instructors taught teenagers "fisting," the medically destructive practice of shoving the fist and arm up the anus of one's sexual partner.

The primary sponsor of this workshop was GLSEN's Chicago office. Those in attendance, including teens, were given a visitor's packet that advertised Chicago's homosexual S&M leather bars and a homosexual bathhouse called Steamworks.

GLSEN's conference included workshops designed to help activist teachers introduce homosexual themes into kindergarten curricula. Through photos of lesbian mothers and daughters, the book Celebrating Families teaches very young children who are learning to read to accept homosexuality.

Homosexual teachers are also being equipped to encourage sexual perversion in boys and girls who have been designated as “transgenders.” This term has been assigned to young people who are struggling with gender confusion. Homosexual teachers consider transgendered teens the new persecuted sexual minority, and GLSEN is urging these teens to lobby for unisex bathrooms on their campuses.

In addition, GLSEN encourages its members to threaten officials with lawsuits if GLSEN is not allowed to start Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) Clubs on school campuses. GLSEN wants a GSA on every campus, and would deny parents the right to keep their children out of these clubs. In one workshop, attendees were told that GLSEN is looking for a case involving a teen who wants to attend a GSA, but is prevented from attending by his parents. GLSEN will file a lawsuit against the parents. Homosexual teachers clearly believe parents have no right to oppose recruitment programs.

These goals set forth at the GLSEN conference should be cause for alarm to all parents. GLSEN would like to deny the rights of parents. If this goal can be attained, radical homosexual teachers will indoctrinate our children to accept the dangerously perverted homosexual lifestyle.

In his speech to the GLSEN conference attendees, Robert Chase stated the following:

“It is not a matter of ‘recruiting’ gay or lesbian students or teachers, but of retaining them - making sure that students do not drop out of school because they feel ostracized. Making sure that teachers' rights are protected, so that they are not discriminated against - so that they are not driven from the profession for reasons that have nothing to do with their competence in the classroom.

“In fact, it's a matter of protecting all children. And all school employees.

"We have all been horrified during the past two years when children have killed other children and teachers. While it has been difficult to establish a common reason behind the violence, one factor has come to light: in the majority of cases, name-calling and bullying were prominent.

“We know that a major way to curtail violence among young people is relatively simple: stop name-calling and stop bullying. If any type of harassment is allowed to go unchecked - we increase the risk of violence in our schools and our communities.

“As Martin Luther King once noted, ‘Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly affects all indirectly.’

“So the question is ‘How do we ensure that our schools - and by extension - our communities, are safer for everyone?’ By promoting tolerance and acceptance of people's fundamental human differences, including sexual orientation. By insisting that all people be treated with dignity and respect. And by insisting that all people receive fair and equal protection under the law.” ²¹

Mr. Chase makes some valid points, but his interpretation and application of those points are incorrect. “Whatever affects one directly affects all indirectly,” is certainly true, and nowhere is it more true than in the case of homosexuality. All of our society is affected by the financial burden and the epidemic of AIDS. Indeed, bullying and name-calling must be stopped, not because it is acceptable to be homosexual, but because taunting and verbal abuse is wrong. Harassing and provoking others is sinful, destructive, malicious behavior and must not go uncorrected. It is possible to treat all people with dignity and respect, fairness and equality without showing approval of perverted, sinful behavior. In fact, we must treat the alien sinner kindly and respectfully, if we expect them to listen to the teachings of Christ. If we want their respect and acceptance of our positive influence, we must first earn their respect. We can do that without giving approval to their sinful lifestyle and without attacking them.

The attitude of the homosexual movement is quite different from the Christian attitude. GLSEN is quite active in our public schools and boldly promotes homosexuality and its acceptance. In May, 2000, GLSEN and the Parents Rights Coalition (PRC) of Newton, Massachusetts engaged in a legal battle over the attempts of gay militant educators to promote homosexuality in the schools.

On March 25, 2000 Scott Whiteman, an employee of the PRC pro-family organization, attended a conference at Tufts University entitled “Teach Out.” This conference was coordinated by the GLSEN and promoted to teachers and teens. Mr. Whiteman secretly tape recorded some of the conference workshops.

One of the workshops was titled, “What They Didn’t Tell You About Queer Sex & Sexuality in Health Class: A Workshop for Youth Only, Ages 14-21.” In this workshop, two lesbians and one homosexual (all HIV instructors with the state), taught children how to engage in “fisting.” The instructors discussed the “pros and cons” of swallowing seminal fluid after oral sex. (Pros? What good could possibly come from swallowing another person's bodily fluids?) Pro-homosexual groups set up tables in the hallways outside the workshops.

"Pocket sex” kits were given to teenagers by one sex clinic. In each kit were two condoms, two antiseptic towelettes, and six bandages. The teenager handing out these kits, stated that the bandages were for “when the sex got really rough.”

The Massachusetts News, a conservative internet paper reported the story locally. World Net Daily did a national feature on Mr. Whiteman’s visit to the conference. The unexpected publicity forced the head of the Massachusetts Department of Education to act. One lesbian HIV instructor was fired, another resigned and the position of the homosexual instructor was abolished, as all such positions should be. ²²

Other homosexual organizations are actively promoting homosexuality with school programs. The organization Just The Facts Coalition includes the National Education Association, American Association of School Administrators, American Psychological Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Association of School Psychologists, American Federation of Teachers, American School Health Association, and others. Their “fact sheet” was mailed to every one of the 15,000 school superintendents in the country with the goal that children will be taught to accept homosexuality. Programs such as It’s Elementary are presented to elementary school children and uses manipulation, indoctrination, trusted authority figures, and peer pressure to convey the message that homosexuality is good and anyone who disagrees is bad. ²³

Unfortunately, homosexual activists are quite successful with their propoganda. The public has become increasingly convinced that homosexuality is completely acceptable. In 1987, a Pew Survey showed that 51 percent of those questioned believed school boards should fire teachers and educators based on sexual orientation. Some 20 years later, only 28 percent believed homosexual educators should be fired. Public support, or at least a lack of opposition, for homosexuals in education is clearly on the increase.

“I believe that the national conversation that is happening regarding sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender self-expression has made a huge difference,” says Mary Paradise, co-chair of the NEA Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Caucus. “When more and more people stand up to support their sons and daughters, their neighbors and friends, their home decorators and hair-dressers, their teachers and health care providers, it makes a difference.” ²⁴
